01 / THE RULES OF A LIFE
In Project Moon Life, a seed sets your birthplace and family. Your decisions shape five attributes, career paths and the story you leave behind.
A Nest, the Backstreets, or the Outskirts. Your birthplace and family are drawn from your seed. You inherit a beginning, not a destiny.
Four seasons. One minute per year. Slow down to take it in, or watch the years pass at up to 32× speed.
Health, sanity, resources, connections, reputation. Protect one and you may lose another. Your life becomes its own archive.
03 / BEFORE YOUR FIRST LIFE
A few things to know before you enter the City: how to play, how seeds work and how to keep your lives safe.
Project Moon Life is a browser-based urban life simulator. Start as a resident of a Nest, the Backstreets or the Outskirts, then navigate education, work, relationships and unexpected events. Your choices shape health, sanity, resources, connections and reputation, creating a life you can revisit in your archive.
The base game is free and unlimited, with no sign-in or payment required. You can start as many lives as your browser storage allows and explore every built-in event and career path. Optional AI play is a separate cloud feature and does not restrict the free simulator.
Start with a random resident or customize a name, story language and seed. Read events, make decisions and follow the years as they pass. At normal speed, one simulated year takes about a minute; you can pause or speed up to 32×. Major decisions pause time, so the length of a session depends on your pace and how long your resident lives.
Yes. In Project Moon Life, the same rules version, seed and sequence of choices reproduce the same results across languages and resident names. Share a beginning with a seed link, or replay a life and try different choices to discover another path. A seed link shares the starting point, not your saved life record.
Project Moon Life automatically saves lives in this browser, without a cloud account. An already-loaded game can continue offline. Export a life backup and import it in another browser to move devices; saves do not automatically sync. Export before clearing site data or changing browsers so you do not lose your records.
You can play in English, Chinese, Japanese or Korean in a modern desktop or mobile browser. Each life keeps the story language selected when it began. Changing the site language updates the interface while the current life continues in its original story language.
Free lives use built-in events and a seeded simulation engine, including their choices and endings. The optional AI chapter generates scenes around your resident’s history and decisions, with cloud saves. It requires sign-in and a one-time $10 unlock; the free game remains unlimited.
